Stamp Out Hunger 2026
Be a part of the largest, one-day food drive in America!
On Saturday, May 9, the National Association of Letter Carriers invites residents to leave non-perishable food items by their mailboxes. These donations are collected and delivered to Island Harvest Food Bank by your local letter carrier, where they are sorted, repacked, and distributed to neighbors in need. All food collected on Long Island stays on Long Island!
In 2025, Stamp Out Hunger helped support 600,000 meals for Long Islanders facing food insecurity. Help us collect even more in 2026!

Ways You Can Help Stamp Out Hunger:
1. On Saturday, May 9, leave healthy, non-perishable food by your mailbox – your letter carrier will do the rest!
2. Be a community champion – tell your neighbors and share #stampouthunger on social media!
3. Register to volunteer – help us sort thousands of pounds of food!
4. Give a gift – $1 supports 2 meals. Your gift today helps us end hunger on Long Island!
