This past year, we partnered with more than 30 Long Island schools to provide healthy food to more than 150,000 children and families through the Kids Weekend Backpack Feeding Program, School Pantry Program, Youth Produce Program, and specialized drive-through family distributions even when schools were temporarily closed.

Utilizing more than 600 distribution points across Nassau and Suffolk counties, Island Harvest Food Bank distributed food and PPE to individuals, families, seniors, veterans, and our network of food pantries, shelters, soup kitchens, and community organizations.

Island Harvest hosted four of the largest one-day food distributions ever held in New York State, providing fresh produce, meat, cheese, and shelf-stable food to 4,000 families at each event, thanks to grants from New York State and Nassau County.
