About Island Harvest Food Bank
Island Harvest Food Bank is a leading human services organization whose mission is to end hunger and reduce food waste on Long Island. We accomplish this through innovative programs and services aimed at enhanced hunger awareness, short-term case management, nutrition education, outreach and advocacy initiatives, a Workforce Skills Development Institute and efficient food collection and distribution.

Workforce Development Program Coordinator
This position will carry out the planning, recruitment, enrollment, and execution of Island Harvest’s Workforce Skills Development Institute programs and manage related Key Performance Indicators and outcome reporting.
Veteran Programs Coordinator
Island Harvest is looking for a military veteran with social services experience to join our organization. Responsibilities include researching potential support sites, coordinating outreach efforts at selected sites and assessing the needs of the people the program serves.
Food Distribution Coordinator – Senior Food Programs
Build and manage relationships with senior housing communities and other community partners.
Truck Driver (Non-CDL License)
Island Harvest is looking for an experienced Non-CDL License Truck Driver to join our team. Responsibilities include driving a 24-foot box truck, route and trip planning, freight loading and unloading and assisting with food distribution and volunteer activities.
