About Island Harvest Food Bank
Island Harvest Food Bank is a leading human services organization whose mission is to end hunger and reduce food waste on Long Island. We accomplish this through innovative programs and services aimed at enhanced hunger awareness, short-term case management, nutrition education, outreach and advocacy initiatives, a Workforce Skills Development Institute and efficient food collection and distribution.

Enhanced Care Coordinator
Island Harvest seeks an energetic, passionate, and socially conscious individual to help Island Harvest’s mission by supporting our expanded resource and service navigation responsibilities as part of the Social Care Network under the 1115 Medicaid Waiver.
Truck Driver (Non-CDL License)
Island Harvest is looking for an experienced Non-CDL License Truck Driver to join our team. Responsibilities include driving a 24-foot box truck, route and trip planning, freight loading and unloading and assisting with food distribution and volunteer activities.
Licensed Master Social Worker
Island Harvest is growing and seeking a full time Social Worker to further our strategic objective of providing the highest quality food, advocacy, resources, product and services to our neighbors in need as well as provide counseling, advocacy and resource and service referrals to students in our Workforce Skills Development Institute.
Nutrition Coordinator
This individual will work with Island Harvest’s Nutrition Pathways program to provide nutrition education, counseling, and workshops to food-insecure clients at one of our partner community-based health centers. The incumbent will split time between the community-based health center and Island Harvest’s Melville office.
