Island Harvest is seeking an analytical thinking, problem solver to join our team.  This full-time role will work closely with Senior Management, Finance, Operations and the Program teams to gather, manage, model, map and visualize purposeful data to provide insights that will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Food Bank’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to food distribution and program effectiveness.
  • Identify trends, patterns and areas of improvement based on data analysis.
  • Create reports and dashboards from multiple data sources (primary and secondary) for purposes of analysis and easy understanding among all stakeholders.
  • Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, dashboards, and forecasts.
  • Identify, understand, and explain internal and external key drivers impacting program performance.
  • Collaborate with Food Bank teams to determine analysis requirements, business issues, metrics, and Key Performance indicators to aid management’s decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mathematics, computer science, economics or statistics or Public Administration.
  • 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in business processes, data analysis, or project management
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work as a team player.

Salary: $27 – $30 per hour
