Food Distribution Coordinator – Senior Food Programs

Job Description:

• Build and manage relationships with senior housing communities and other community partners.
• Assist with food distributions to low-income community members across Long Island.
• Connect individuals to community resources and educate them on local supports.
• New client enrollment and database maintenance.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years’ experience helping community members access services on Long Island.
• Previous experience driving a non-CDL box truck preferred
• Ability to lift 40-pound boxes for prolonged periods of time.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Other:

• 40 hours per week Monday- Friday. Occasional Saturdays.
• Indoor and outdoor work environments, including inclement weather.
• Salary: $24.50 per hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
