Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

The first annual Stamp Out Hunger took place in 1993 and has continued to be held every second Saturday in May.

Last year Stamp Out Hunger across Long Island generated 544,000 meals locally for our neighbors. This event on Long Island is a partnership between the National Association of Letter Carriers, United States Postal Service, and Island Harvest Food Bank. Team building opportunities to help sort and pack the food will be available Saturday evening, May 11th and will continue Monday, May 13th – Wednesday, May 15th, 2024. As a sponsor of this amazing event, your team will be able to pre-register before it opens to the public. Be a part of history in the making and the largest food drive in the United States.

Below are the ways you can help Stamp Out Hunger:

1

Saturday, May 11: Leave your bag of nonperishable food by your mailbox before your letter carrier arrives.

2

Contribute: Every $10 supports 20 meals for Long Islanders in need. Contribute Now! (SOH Crowdfunding link)
