Use your network to advocate for those facing food insecurity and engage your community in the largest one-day food drive in the nation on May 11th. To participate in the Stamp Out Hunger food drive, residents are encouraged to leave a sturdy bag containing non-perishable foods next to their mailbox prior to the time of regular mail delivery on Saturday, May 11th. Your letter carrier will take care of the rest. Your donations are transported to an Island Harvest warehouse where dedicated volunteers sort and pack the food. These essential supplies are then distributed to over 300 member-agency food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens, directly benefiting your neighbors in need right in your own community.
