Maria Arianas leads Island Harvest’s newly launching Workforce Skills Development Institute, outlining a strategy, building strategic stakeholder relationships, and developing training programs for this innovative initiative. The Institute will offer programs to train and place diverse candidates in food industry roles, working with food industry employers to identify skills gaps and design high-impact and scalable training experiences that include industry certifications and pre/post-employment work-life transition coaching. Maria is an expert at bridging the gap between organizational needs and talent contributions. She is highly regarded for developing the right people strategies and learning solutions that enable organizations to achieve growth while empowering teams, managers, and individuals. She enjoys a career trajectory that spans from executive roles in media finance at MTV Networks/Viacom to senior-level consultative and leadership roles in training, learning and development, and organizational design.
