Mobile Food Pantry Coordinator

Island Harvest is looking for a military veteran with social services experience to join our organization.  Responsibilities include researching potential support sites, coordinating outreach efforts at selected sites and assessing the needs of the people the program serves. Additional responsibilities include routing and trip planning, driving and freight loading and unloading of a refrigerated van.


Ideal candidates must be a military veteran and have prior experience in social services. Candidates must also possess excellent organizational skills, be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing, have a strong grasp of time management and possess a desire to help others.  Applicants must have the ability to adapt to change, be self directed and be able to work both independently and as an effective team member.  A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.  Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.  Excellent starting pay and benefits.
