With the COVID-19 pandemic, Island Harvest’s Annual Taste of the Harvest Event becomes a virtual gala, highlighting
the culinary talents of 3 prominent Long Island chefs: David Burke, Claudia Fleming, and Guy Reuge. Participants will have the opportunity to prepare a 3-course dinner “alongside” the chefs through virtual demonstrations of an appetizer, entrée and dessert.
Food for preparing the meal will be delivered to each participant by Our Harvest. Each gourmet gala box includes
prep food for an appetizer, dinner, and dessert for two people, recipe cards, and a commemorative gift.
The event will honor Lessing’s Hospitality Group and Loretta Sehlmeyer, Volunteer Extraordinaire.
