About Island Harvest Food Bank
Island Harvest Food Bank is a leading human services organization whose mission is to end hunger and reduce food waste on Long Island. Community Empowerment Supervisor
This position leads a team responsible for working throughout Long Island to increase participation in SNAP among those who are eligible through two core strategies: enrollment and application assistance, and outreach, promotion, and education. The incumbent will plan, oversee and evaluate all aspects of Island Harvest’s outreach efforts for the SNAP program.

Island Harvest is seeking a seasoned Chief Development Officer to join our team, who brings years of successful progressive experience in implementing growth-intensive strategies to support a comprehensive development department.
Department Administrative Assistant (Bi-lingual in English/Spanish)
As the Administrative Assistant for the Neighborhood Market Programs, you will be responsible for handling various administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the division.
Administrative Assistant (Workforce Development)
This role with provide administrative assistance to the Workforce Skills Development Institute team and contribute to the successful execution of training programs and events.
Nutrition Coordinator
This individual will work with Island Harvest’s Nutrition Pathways program to provide nutrition education, counseling, and workshops to food-insecure clients at one of our partner community-based health centers. The incumbent will split time between the community-based health center and Island Harvest’s Melville office.
