The Farm Bill is a package of laws passed every five years that supports emergency food programs throughout the country. You’ve heard of SNAP, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and WIC, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for Women, Infants, and Children. These programs are funded through the Farm Bill. Congress has yet to pass the latest version of the Farm Bill and there’s still time for your voice to be heard.
