Students Feeding Students Challenge - Spring 2011

We invite all Long Island High Schools to compete in our 3rd Annual Students Feedings Students Challenge during March 14 – April 17. Students will develop leadership and fund raising skills by learning first-hand the issues of hunger in their own community. The three schools that collect the most food and funds will be invited to a special Awards Ceremony and recognized on the front page of our website.

2011 Challenge Results:

17 schools registered and collected over 15,000 Lbs of food in this year's Student Feeding Student Challenge. Valley Stream Central High School collected 2,800 lbs of food (1st place), Cold Spring Harbor collected 2,000 lbs of food (2nd place) and Bethpage collected 1,890 lbs of food.
