2016 Turkey Distribution

Island Harvest will be distributing turkeys to our member agencies in the months of November and December. The amount of turkeys each member agency receives has not yet been determined.

The Agency Relations Team will be using the number of households served per month from the surveys as a guide in determining how to assign the turkeys.

Turkeys will be distributed through warehouse appointments and central distributions. We will extend our warehouse appointments and will be open the weekend before Thanksgiving. You will be notified by your Agency Relations Coordinator when to expect the turkeys.

The dates of distribution for turkeys will begin mid-November. Please note that the majority of the turkeys we receive are through donation and will be coming in the week prior to Thanksgiving.

All turkeys will be distributed frozen. In order for them to thaw correctly, we will stop distributing them on Wednesday, December 21st.
