National Association for Letter Carrier’s Food Drive (NALC)

Saturday, May 13th

Island Harvest Food Bank will be the recipient of the NALC food drive for the 25th year. We are very excited to be able to collect, sort and distribute this food.

In the past few years we have collected approximately 750,000 lbs of food. We hope to collect that amount and more on Saturday, May 13th.

Please help spread the word and ask all of your neighbors to put food out by the mailbox and the postal staff will collect it when delivering the mail. Click HERE for a flyer.

All active member agencies are eligible to receive this food. Our Agency Relations Coordinators, Karen LaSorsa and Elizabeth Notarbartolo will be assigning pick-up dates for member agencies from May 15th-May 26th.

The pick-ups will be held at the Hauppauge and Uniondale Warehouses, as well as a new location in Calverton for East End member agencies.
