LIPA/REAP Is Offering Free Home Energy Audits
For Qualified Customers

Having trouble managing your electric bills? Do your bills seem higher than they should be? Would you like some help?

It doesn’t matter if you rent or own your home. It doesn’t matter if your home is an apartment, house, or mobile home. It doesn’t even matter if your LIPA bill is paid up to date. If you get a LIPA bill and your household meets the income guidelines, you are eligible for this free program.

Eligible customers may receive FREE compact fluorescent lightbulbs and/or a FREE brand-new Energy-Star refrigerator if the current refrigerator fails the energy-efficient test.

A household is income eligible for a FREE Home Energy Audit when the combined income of all residents is at or under the following amounts (proof of income for all members living in household will be required):

(Add $5,150 to the annual gross income for each additional family member over 8 persons.)
