Weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and graduations are chances
to make some noise, and make a difference! Here’s how:
• Donate surplus food. IH will make arrangements with your caterer
to rescue any excess food. There are no additional costs to the
event host or catering facility for donating the excess food.
• Make
a contribution. In lieu of a traditional favor, a tax-deductible
donation can be made in honor of your guests.
• Create theme centerpieces.
Use toys, personal products or packaged food that can be donated
to Island Harvest.
• Spread the word. Let your guests know you're
donating to Island Harvest! Island Harvest can provide sample

a table
tent card or scroll so you can inform your guests of your generosity
and introduce them to Island Harvest's mission. Next time
you give a party, give yourself something extra to feel good about!
